Do you find yourself making excuses for not learning how to cook? There’s no good reason for it, really. In addition, there are plenty of food and cooking programs on TV, including entire channels dedicated to it. We even have celebrity chefs today.
Despite all of that however, the culinary arts are actually being neglected as more people prefer instant meals and processed food. The reason given by everyone is they’re busy with work and other activities, and have no time to prepare meals from scratch. The culinary arts are sadly being neglected. To add to the problem, schools are not teaching the next generation about nutrition and how to cook proper meals.
However, do you realize that a home cooked meal is much healthier than processed food high in fat, salt, and preservatives, and is much cheaper than eating at restaurants? When you prepare your own meals you can select the freshest and healthiest ingredients, and you can show off your culinary skills.
